Summary

Lady Gaga is not exactly known for her squeaky clean image and was never strange to controversies during her rise to fame. Though not mainly in the mainstream for all the family, she did break the limit after shocking concert-goers by staging a violent death. Not the first time she has acted on stage with blood scenes, but this has ultimately brought in a bad reputation, upsetting minority of people and her fans who commented on it as 'very disturbing and extremely tasteless'.

Lady Gaga, originally known as Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta is a theatrical dance-pop performer who began her career after being influenced by flamboyant glam rockers and '80s dance-poppers. She began to make a name for herself on the downtown Manhattan club scene with a performance art show in 2007 and then came her debut single, "Just Dance", followed by "The Fame” which made it to the top where she ultimately headlined her own concert tour 'The Fame Ball Tour' in 2009.

Time magazine has included Gaga in the annual Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world 2010.
